Welcome to cars boss. Today I am taking you through all the road signs in Ghana with their respective pictorial representations.

As a driver or learner driver, there is the need to know all the DVLA driving signs to ensure you are safe on the road.

It is also important for a regular Ghanaian to know the road signs for personal safety.

All these will ensure that every road user is safe and road traffic accidents will be reduced drastically.

You may have come across a road sign and probably did not know what it means. For this reason, I am educating all readers on what each road sign represents.

ROAD WARNING SIGNS AND THEIR MEANINGS

The warning signs let you know that road changes are coming up on your drive. These can be temporary or permanent traffic hazards.

Warning signs can warn you about the following:

  • Merging or adding or lanes
  • Narrowing of road
  • Changes in the direction of the road
  • Highway or motorway entry and exists
  • Roundabouts, stops, or giveways etc.

These signs are meant to provide information on direction, destination, roadside facilities, etc. to the road use.

Following information signs help the driver to save time and reach his or her destination faster.

These signs consist of the road diversion sign, road closed sign, road clear sign, reduce speed now sign, stop sign, etc.
